The treatment is generally comfortable, there is no need to use numbing cream and downtime is minimal. Your skin will look red after the treatment but this redness subsides within 24 hours. The changes to your skin begin immediately and you will see noticeable results after just two treatments.

You may experience some mild peeling, this is normal as the dehydrated skin leaves the stratum corneum.

Mesotherapy is a unique Hyaluronic Acid blend which uses bioactive ingredients such as antioxidants, repair enzymes, peptides, amino acids, plant-based botulinum toxin. There are a range products which can often be combined in order to target skin firmness, elasticity and radiance. Each blend is tailored to your skin.

Mesotherapy uses small needles to administer the cocktail of unique ingredients into the Mesoderm (middle layer of the skin). These ingredients are bespoke to you and your skin and the unique blends stimulate your fibroblasts to product more hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin (depending on the needs of your skin) leaving you with more hydrated skin with a rejuvenated surface and a natural looking face.

Skin Boosters / Profhilo

Skin Boosters are especially designed to deliver deep skin hydration. The treatment involves hydrating microinjections of a soft, gel-like substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA) into the skin, which improves the skin’s elasticity, firmness and radiance.

How does Profhilo work?

Profhilo can be administered in a number of different ways although the most common and effective method is to use the BAP technique.

BAP stands for bio aesthetic points but what does this mean?

It basically means five areas on each side of the face are injected, while this will vary slightly depending on your face shape positions are usually on the lower part of the face.

This is done to help reduce the number of injections needed and to allow the Profhilo treatment to more effectively fight the signs of ageing.
